Disciplinary procedures

When an employee commits misconduct or otherwise violates company policy, we want to provide a clear path for them to rectify their behavior. As such, we provide these disciplinary procedures that must be followed after incidents of minor misconduct. Serious offenses will be investigated and the consequences determined by management.

There are several stages of disciplinary action. This may start with a verbal warning.

  1. Meeting with manager
  2. Written warning
  3. Meeting with manager and senior manager (or HR)
  4. Termination

More serious incidents of misconduct will start at a later stage.

Please keep in mind that our company is not obligated to follow this procedure at all times. Employees who are employed "at will" may be terminated at any time. Certain serious offenses (eg. a criminal offense) may be terminated immediately.
