After any changes are made, you will need to apply those changes to the system. Because this involves making changes to the underlying database, it will make the system unavailable for a few seconds while the change is applied. End-users will only notice a slight pause when using the system, they will not have to log out or stop using the system.

Usually when changes are ready to be applied, you will see a link at the top of the screen prompting you to apply the changes. Click that link and it will perform the necessary changes and restart the process. This may take a few seconds to occur.

Note: Because the slight possibility of data loss (eg. accidentally removing a field you previously added) we strongly recommend checking that you have a database backup prior to making any changes to this section.
