Our platform allows you to export an article (or multiple articles) to XML format, for backing them up or transporting them from one installation to another.

You can export an article by first going to the article in question, then clicking on Explore at the bottom, and then by going to Admin Tools (top right corner), expanding functions and saving the link "XML (For Importing)" to a file (ie. right click the "XML (For Importing)" link and clicking "Save As..."). The resultant XML file can then be zipped up.

To import an article, there is an admin action called Import Article Xml, under Explore / Admin Functions, which can be used to import an article and its entire history from an XML file. This function is available for administrators only.
