Using AI To Create Quizzes

Coming up with quizzes can be challenging and time consuming to do well. Because of this, we've added in an AI function that can help create quizzes for you. It will do this based on the contents of the article you are editing. Note: it won't have access to the rest of your policy guide or any previous articles you were editing. It only sees the current article you are editing, and even then will only be able to process the first 2,000 or so words.

Please read important information about the AI function prior to using it.

To access this feature, start by editing an article.

Then click the light-bulb icon on the toolbar to access the AI functions.

This will bring up the AI Functions window, where you can select "Suggest a Quiz" from the function dropdown.

That's all you need to enter. But you can optionally provide a hint, such as "Focusing on security-related questions.".

Now click OK, and it will spend a bit of time sending information to the AI engine and then trying to understand and parse the response. Sometimes it may display an error asking you to retry, if the system is at capacity or if it had difficulty understanding the response.

Once done, you should see an orange highlighted "Edit Quiz" link at the top of the article. You can click that to look at what suggestions it made, and correct them. You should expect to have to modify the results, as nearly every time you will find something that needs fixing. Often, for instance, the correct answer will be formatted slightly differently and will need fixing to be harder to distinguish from the wrong answers.

Note: This function removes any existing quiz. So if you run it again, it will replace the previously entered quiz.
