QR Codes with Checklists

Checklists can be very useful for recording procedures that involve physical assets at facilities. For example, changing the filters in an HVAC system.

Once you've created a checklist for these types of procedures, it can be useful to create a QR code that goes to the page with that checklist - that way you can print out that QR code next to the physical asset (eg. an HVAC printer or a laser printer) so that the worker can easily scan the QR code and complete the checklist accordingly.

Simply go to the page where the checklist is, and click the QR code in the top right hand corner.

This will automatically generate a QR code for that page. There will be a gray box where you can enter in any text you like that will be part of the printed page. When you are done creating that QR code page, simply print it using the browser's print feature (eg. Ctrl+P), and then post it next to the physical item to ensure it's easily accessible to your staff.

Another useful feature is that these checklists that are completed from physical assets can also create incident reports automatically, based on conditions related to the data input in checklist forms. For more information on this, see here
