Adding Tasks to Evidence

Evidence collection can sometimes be a complex process. While our platform will automatically provide evidence that policies and procedures are being adhered to, other forms of evidence that use external systems or documents can be more involved. For this reason we have added task management underneath evidence.

The evidence task management lets you (or an auditor) add a task list under evidence. As soon as incomplete tasks are detected under evidence, it will automatically mark the evidence as invalid, presuming that work still needs to be done to provide that evidence. Once all tasks are complete, it will verify the evidence and mark it as valid as appropriate.

Tasks can be added under evidence using the Add Task button:

Like all tasks, these can then be assigned to individuals, have due dates or scheduled dates set on them, and will automatically send out reminders through email. Note, though, that any users who are assigned tasks must be marked as a Risk Analyst in the Users tab.
